SKRYTÉ MESTO [HIDDEN CITY]
was the first curatorial initiative of Ondrej Veselý, organized with the assistance of Tomáš Urbaník. The central idea of the project was to connect musical art — in forms absent in the Upper Kysuce region, and still missing today — with locations in the town of Čadca that had lost their original identity.
The first and only concert took place in the ruins of the so-called Palárikov,
a former cultural center that until the end of 2024 survived only as a faded ruin. The aim of the project was thus to breathe life — even if only for a short time — into faded buildings with a lost identity through classical music concerts.

The inaugural concert introduced music for classical guitar performed by Ondrej Veselý, complemented by a lecture on the lost identity of Čadca given by Matej Babuljak. The project also gave visibility to the work of visual artist Michaela Baďžgoňová and photographer Alžbeta Bobulová. Another important motivation was to highlight artists from the Kysuce region whose work is recognized elsewhere but receives little attention at home.
Due to a lack of support from official structures, the project ended in its original form and eventually evolved into BIELE MIESTA.
