An international project dedicated to the creation and performance of new music for guitar.

At its core is a simple question: what happens when a single instrument becomes a FILTER for radically different compositional languages? The project brings together composers of different generations, aesthetics and cultural backgrounds, many of whom are writing for the guitar for the first time.

Concentrated Voices combines solo works with music for guitar and electronics, creating an open network of new compositions. Rather than pursuing a unified style, the project places highly individual compositional voices side by side, allowing the guitar to reveal their differences, affinities and distinctive approaches to sound.
